The writ petitioners have been allotted the responsibility of beautification work of Balighai Branch Canal at Mouza - Kamalpur Block, Egra-II, Purba Medinipur.

It is submitted that the said work was obstructed by the private respondents and the petitioner approached the Egra Police Station in this regard. It is further submitted that as on date the respondent nos.8 and 9 have left and have not obstructed any further.

The Egra Police Station shall ensure that the respondent no.9 is removed from the said beautification work area forthwith. The petitioners shall complete the beautification process. Any further request from the petitioners to the Egra Police Station shall immediately be attended to.

It shall be ensured by the police that the petitioner's work is carried on without interruption.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
