12.07.2023 sdas rejected C.R.M.(DB) No. 2667 of 2023 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Junput-Coastal Police Station Case No. 48 of 2019 dated 22.08.2019 under Sections 326/307/302/201 of the Indian Penal Code.

Perusal of the report shows that the vacancy in the trial court shall shortly be filled-up. Trial is at its fag end. Allegations are grave. Offence, even if proved, would attract mandatory life imprisonment. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
