1. Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Mr. Ramkrishna Bhattacharyya, learned advocate for the petitioner and Ms. Sumita Shaw, learned advocate for the State are present.

3. With the consent of the parties, the matter has been heard finally.

4. During the course of hearing, learned advocates for the parties reached a consensus. It is agreed that the petitioner's pending representation dated 13.03.2025 Annexure P/3 may be directed to be decided by the Block Development Officer, Goalpokher-1 Development Block, Uttar Dinajupur, within a stipulated period.

5. In view of consensus arrived at, the PIL is disposed of with following directions:

i) The petitioner shall resubmit his aforesaid representation dated 13.03.2025 Annexure P/3 before the said BDO along with copy of this order.

ii) The BDO shall consider and decide the representation, in accordance with law/guidelines within 45 days therefrom.

iii) The outcome shall be communicated to the petitioner.

6. With the aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this PIL is disposed of.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
