Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities as also the superior officers of police, no steps have been taken. The information I find was sent on or about 04.01.2024.

Report submitted by the State reflects that Burdwan P.S. Case No.159 of 2024 dated 04.02.2024 was registered for investigation and subsequently on conclusion of investigation, charge-sheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Having taken into account that the police authorities have taken steps, I direct that in case the petitioner is aggrieved by any further action of the police authorities, he would take out an appropriate application before the jurisdictional court.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16457 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
