1. Report filed by the Officer-in-Charge, Patuli Police Station dated 8th July, 2025 is taken on record.

2. It appears from the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, private respondent and the State respondents that the petitioner has currently been put back in possession of the property which stands recorded in her name along with her daughter.

3. The parties have certain grievances with regard to some jewellery and cash which was allegedly kept inside the almirah and wardrobe of the room which was locked by the private respondent and keys of the room remained with the private respondent.

4. The petitioner and the private respondent pray for taking back their jewellery and cash.

5. It appears from the report of the police that an inventory list was prepared by the learned advocates of the respective parties in the presence of the police officer,

namely, S.I. Dipankar Banerjee who put his signature on the said list. A video of the proceeding is also reported to have been recorded.

6. As the preliminary relief sought for by the petitioner appears to have been allowed, accordingly, the Court is not inclined to keep the writ petition pending any further.

7. The writ petition and the connected application stands disposed of.

8. It will be open for the parties to approach the competent forum with their prayer for recovery of jewellery, cash or any other document(s) or article in accordance with law.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
