The petitioners undertake to deposit deficit court fees by 25th June, 2026.

Affidavit of service filed by the petitioners is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners applied for grant under Banglar Awas Yojana Scheme pursuant to which I.D. numbers were provided to them. Though several other beneficiaries have been favoured with necessary fund for construction of pucca building under the same scheme, sanction of fund has not been made in favour of the petitioners. The petitioners submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authority on 13th March, 2025 and seek consideration of the same.

In view of the above, the Block Development Officer, Goalpokher I Gram Panchayat, being the 4th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners on 13th March, 2025 within six weeks from the date of communication of

this order, upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof. In the event the 4th respondent arrives at a decision in favour of the petitioners, necessary consequential steps be taken at the earliest.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
