Despite service of notice, neither the State nor the private respondent are represented. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are lawful owners of a land and recorded patta holder of the land at Mouza Chamaguri, J.L. No.42, Kh. Nos.1879 and 2518, Plot No.411 measuring 22 decimal under Sagar Coastal Police Station, District South 24-Parganas.

It is submitted that the private respondent is continuously intimidating the petitioners and preventing them from affecting cultivation on their property.

In that view of the matter, the Officer-in-Charge, Sagar Coastal Police Station shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the vicinity of the petitioners' land and also ensure that the private respondent in no way obstructs the petitioners in enjoyment of their land.

In respect of any further grievance against the private respondent, the petitioners may approach the Civil Court.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
