Today nobody for the petitioners has appeared and an adjournment has been prayed for by Ms. Puaba Mukherjee, learned advocate, for them.

Such adjournment is not granted. As all the petitioners have B.Ed. qualifications, they are not eligible for the posts of Assistant Teachers in view of the Supreme Court's judgement which has been indicated in the order dated 09.01.2024.

The matter is dismissed.
