Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioners is for expeditious disposal of the Misc. Case No.776 of 2018 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 7th Court, Howrah the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party.

The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears that the Misc. Case filed under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 is pending before the learned Trial Court since 2018. In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible, preferably within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 2609 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
