Mr. Rajdeep Majumder, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners claiming parity with the other co-accused persons in CRM (DB) 1240 of 2024, has prayed for anticipatory bail. 2.

It is not being denied by the State that the petitioners are on the same footing situated as that of Pabitra Das and another, who were granted bail on 22nd April, 2024.

3. The coordinate Bench on consideration of the materials was of the view that possibility of false implication due to political affiliation cannot be ruled out. 4.

Keeping in view that the petitioners are standing on the same footing as that of Pabitra Das & Anr., we extend the same benefit to these petitioners also and we allow the prayer for anticipatory bail of the present petitioners. Signed By :

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioners namely, Mousumi Patra Mondal and Batul Das, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer on condition that the petitioners shall appear before the trial court within two weeks from date and thereafter shall appear on each and every date of hearing and subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and on further conditions that the petitioners shall remain outside the jurisdiction of Khejuri Police Station except for attending the court proceedings and/or investigation and shall provide the address where they shall reside while on bail to the investigating officer as well as the court below and shall meet the officer-in-charge of the concerned police station where they shall reside while on bail once in a week until further orders. 6.

In the event they fail to comply with any of the conditions as mentioned hereinbefore, the trial court shall be at liberty to cancel their bail automatically without any reference to this court. 7.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is allowed. 8.

CRM (A) 2200 of 2024 is, thus, disposed of.
