Saha ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that by an order dated 04.08.2025, this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners in CRM(A) 2419 of 2025, inter alia, on the conditions that the petitioners shall surrender before the jurisdictional court and pray for bail within four weeks and shall attend the jurisdictional court regularly. But due to some communication gap, the petitioners, who are day labourers, could not surrender before the jurisdictional court.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for relaxation and extension of time to surrender. It appears that the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail, but somehow failed to comply with the condition as surrender and pray for bail.

In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the petitioners are directed to surrender before the jurisdictional

court within two weeks from this date and pray for bail and to attend the jurisdictional court regularly. To this extent, the order passed by this Court earlier while granting anticipatory bail stands modified. The other conditions would remain the same.

With these observations, the application for extension of time to surrender being CRAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
