The petitioner complains that the private respondents are regularly harassing her and her family members and demand sums of money.

Counsel for the private respondent submits that they have not been harassing the petitioner.

There are disputes and differences between the parties in connection with a development and construction of a building.

The petitioner and the private respondents have raised a lot of serious civil disputes and grievances against one another. The Civil issues are required to be adjudicated before an appropriate civil forum. However, the private respondents shall desist from harassing the petitioner directly or indirectly. The Officer-in-Charge, Howrah Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
