Mr. Gaganjyot Singh Mr. Biswajit Mal ...........for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Kumar Dutta Mr. Rajat Dutta ..........for the State It is found from the affidavit-in-opposition submitted by the State -respondents that the State has admitted to an amount of Rs. 6,09,244/- being payable to the petitioner on account of the petitioner's appearance fees. The State has disputed the remaining amount on various grounds.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that a direction may be made for payment of the admitted amount to the petitioner and that the petitioner will file an appropriate representation for the remaining amount.

WPA 15956 of 2022 is accordingly allowed and disposed of with a direction on the Legal

Remembrancer/respondent no.2 to pay the amount of Rs. 6,09,244/- to the petitioner upon the petitioner's producing supporting bills. The petitioner is directed to submit such bills to the Legal Remembrancer within ten days from date. The Legal Remembrancer shall thereafter make payment to the petitioner within ten days from the date on which the bills are received by the Legal Remembrancer.

The petitioner shall have liberty of filing an appropriate representation for the remaining amount.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted these bills to the Legal Remembrancer's Office.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
