The petitioners allege non-consideration of the representation dated 17th April, 2024 filed before the Superintendent of Police, Murshidabad with copy to the Officer-in-Charge, Lalgola Police Station received by Officer-in-Charge and Superintendent of Police on 27th April, 2024.

Learned advocate representing the private respondents submits, upon instructions that, there is a civil suit pending in respect of the subject property between the predecessor in interest of the petitioners and the private respondents.

Be that as it may, as it appears that a representation was filed before the police, the police shall take necessary steps to consider the same in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merit of the representation filed by the

petitioners and all points are left open to be decided by the Officer-in-Charge, Lalgola Police Station at the time of consideration of the said representation.

Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 17th April, 2024 to the Officer-in-Charge, Lalgola Police Station for taking steps in the matter, if not already taken earlier. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
