Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that some of the occupants/tenants of the premises which belong to the petitioner are raising illegal constructions and in spite of informing the police authorities no steps are being taken. Learned advocate for the State has submitted report prepared by Inspector-in-Charge, Airport Police Station.

Police authorities are well aware regarding the repeated information being furnished. However, until and unless municipal authorities direct the police authorities to take steps so far as the issues to legality or illegality of the constructions are related, the same cannot be dealt with by the police authorities.

Petitioner would approach the municipal authorities in case there are direction from the municipal authorities to the police authorities for acting in a particular manner, police authorities would respect such order. In the meantime, police authorities would ensure

that no untoward incident takes place because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 15544 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
