In future, prompt instructions shall be given to the State Advocate by the Police to avoid presence in Court. Even otherwise presence in virtual mode shall be made to avoid leaving the Police Station duties.

A report has been filed by the S. P., Malda. It appears from the report that the missing pipes are the property of the English Bazar Municipality. In fact, the pipes were found in the Municipality store.

It is further submitted that the petitioners have been blacklisted by the Municipality for failing to comply with the tender terms. Enquiry was caused into the petitioners' complaint and no cognizable offence has been made out.

This Court does not wish to enter into the issues between the Municipality and the petitioners.

The enquiry report of the S.P., Malda dated 13.09.2022 is taken on record. Let a copy of the same be served to the counsel for the petitioners.

The personal presence of the Officer-in-Charge, English Bazar Police Station is dispensed with. In view of the above, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition.

The writ petition shall stand disposed of.
