AD 59 August 6, 2025 Ct. 28 SG CRM(A) 2460 of 2025 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Saktipur P.S. Case No.118 of 2025 dated 09.06.2025 under Sections 126(2)/117(2)/118(2)/74/280/3(5) of the BNS, 2023.

Masu Sk @ Masidul Seikh and others ... petitioners Md. Mokaram Hossain ... for the petitioners Mr. Suman De Ms. Suveni Banerjee ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there are case and counter case. Both sides suffered injuries. The instant case was started later.

Learned counsel for the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and refers to the statements of the witnesses, including the victim as well as injury reports which show inflicting of injuries on vital parts of the body as also fracture injury caused on a finger of one of the victims. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, including the statements of the witnesses pointing to the roles of the present petitioners and the injury

reports, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
