The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation in taking steps pursuant to the complaint of the petitioner against the respondent nos.6 & 7. The petitioner lodged a complaint that the respondent nos.6 & 7 had been making some unauthorised construction on Plot No.29B, Gopal Bose Lane, Kolkata-700 009. The petitioner submits that vacant spaces as per by the building rules have not been left open and the construction has been made in deviation of the plan.

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation has submitted a report before this Court from which it appears that a

four storied residential building is being constructed and so far no unauthorised constructions have been detected. Under such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of without any order.

The Corporation is directed to intimate to the petitioner, the fate of their complaint. Such intimation shall reach the petitioner within a period of two months. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be however no order as to costs.
