The petitioner prays for a direction upon the first appellate authority under the West Bengal Primary Education Committee to dispose of the appeal filed under Rule 11 of the West Bengal Primary Education (Conduct of Service), Rules 2001.

The same is pending consideration since March 2024.

Without going into the merits of the appeal, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 9 to consider and dispose of the appeal in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the appeal to the appellate authority at the time of communication of this order.

The petitioner is serving as a teacher of a primary school and it is expected that the teacher will act in a responsible manner and not put up any irresponsible and controversial post in the social media.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
