Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, there is a possibility of settlement.

State and the de-facto complainant are represented. Learned advocate appearing for the de-facto complainant refers to the photographs, which the victim suffered. Considering the materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the fact that the police complaint was lodged as against the petitioner within one year of marriage and

considering the fact that the petitioner is the husband of the defacto complainant, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 3472 of 2022 is dismissed.
