1. This is an application for relaxation of conditions of bail granted to the applicants by our order dated December 23, 2025. One of the conditions of bail was that the applicants shall reside within the jurisdiction of New Town Police Station, Kolkata in three separate premises, and shall not meet each other.

2. The applicants say that their financial condition is not permitting them to reside within the jurisdiction of New Town Police Station, Kolkata far less in three separate premises. Hence, they may be allowed to reside in their respective native places.

3. We shall consider the aforesaid prayer after the declaration of results in the ensuing Assembly Elections. For that purpose, list this matter on May 11, 2026, at the top of the list as a "Specially Fixed Matter".

4. We pass this order keeping in mind that the applicants appear to be persons having political affiliation.

5. We see that the applicants have not yet furnished bail bond and have not reaped benefit of the order granting bail to them. Therefore, they are still detained in the Correctional Home(s). In the event they furnish bail bond and are released in terms of the order of bail, they will be at liberty to exercise their franchise on April 23, 2026, which, we are told, is the date fixed for voting at the native place of the applicants being Moyna, Purba Medinipur.
