The petitioners complain that despite being land losers, they have not been registered in any exempted category in the concerned Employment Exchange. In terms of the Circular of the Labour Department, Government of West Bengal dated 25th August, 2002 a representation has been made to the Land Acquisition Collector, Murshidabad, Berhampore on 3rd July, 2019 which remain unconsidered.

In that view of the matter, the respondent no.4 shall consider the representation of the petitioners as above, within a period of three months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

A reasoned order may be passed and the same may be communicated to the petitioners within a week thereof.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
