There are no allegations against the panchayat authorities. The petitioner is aggrieved by nonimplementation of the notice dated June 14, 2018, issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Egra, Purba Medinipur under the West Bengal Highway Act, 1964. The remedy of the petitioner is to pursue the said authority and pray for conclusion of the proceeding. The petitioner is directed to approach the concerned authority for expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

While disposing of the matter, the competent authority shall ensure cooperation by the gram panchayat and any other official involved with the maintenance of the said road.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
