The grievance raised by the petitioners is that the Gilarchat Primary Health Centre under Mathurapur Block-II in Diamond Harbour was upgraded from nonbedded to a ten bedded Primary Health Centre by creation of additional post by the order of the State dated 30th October, 2017. Thereafter all the facilities had been created by the State, but till now the indoor patient admission facility has not been started. Learned counsel for the petitioners has pointed out that the petitioners'
representation dated 27.05.2022 in this regard is pending before the respondent no.4 i.e. Chief Medical Officer of Health, Diamond Harbour.
Learned counsel for the State fairly submits that
there is no objection in considering the petitioners' representation within a time bound period.
Hence, we dispose of the present petition directing the respondent no.4 to duly consider the petitioners' representation dated 27.05.2022 in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
