Petitioner has approached this Court calling for an interference in connection with Dakhineswar Police Station 72/24. I find from the records that the said case was registered on 23.05.2024 under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. More than 14 months have passed since such case was registered, there is change of circumstances with passage of time. It is also reflected from the report submitted by the police authorities that there was a matrimonial dispute, consequent to which MAT 1182 of 2024 was filed before the learned District Judge, Alipore. The criminal case under section 498A was also registered pursuant to information furnished by the respondent no. 5.

Having considered that substantial time has passed and the prayer so advanced were interim in nature, I am of the view that no interference is called

for at this belated stage. Petitioner will take steps before the jurisdictional Court in seisin of Dakhineswar PS Case No. 72/24.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 16606 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending application, if any, be consequently disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.
