In terms of the earlier order, the writ petitions were to be heard after the contempt petitions in CPAN 831 of 2023 and CPAN 948 of 2023 are

considered. Those contempt petitions could not be heard on the date fixed on account of one of the Hon'ble Judges, who was comprising the Division Bench was in the Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri.

The said contempt petitions are to be listed for hearing on 29th September, 2023. Therefore, these writ petitions, as requested stand adjourned to 6th October, 2023.

In W.P.A. (P) 351 of 2023, a direction was issued to the respondent/State to file an affidavit furnishing certain details. The learned Advocate General submitted that the affidavit is in the process of being settled and it will be filed on 3rd October, 2023.
