The petitioner alleges that the police authorities have not taken any steps in order to ensure that the order of status quo, passed by the learned civil court is implemented.

Allegation is that the respondent nos. 6 to 9 have tried to violate the ad interim order. The petitioner's remedy against the respondent nos. 6 to 9 with regard to the alleged violation of the order of status quo, is before the learned Civil Court. However, once the civil court passes an order in the form of an injunction/status quo, it is the bounden duty of the police authorities to ensure that the order is implemented.

Under such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Officer-inCharge, Nazat Police Station to ensure that the order of status quo, passed by the learned civil court is

implemented in its letter and spirit, upon ascertaining whether the said order is still subsisting or not. The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
