Supplementary affidavit filed in Court today by the petitioner is taken on record.

A copy of the same may be served upon the Lake Police Station.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 25th July 2022 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Lake Police Station addressed to the learned State Advocate and the same is taken on record.

It appears from the report that on the complaint of the petitioner Lake Police Station has started Lake Police Station Case No.150 dated 18th May 2022 under Sections 448/380/406/120B of the Indian Penal Code against the accused persons. The petitioner has lodged further complaint of theft of their articles and goods sorted in the premises.

Investigation into the said complaint shall be conducted under the same FIR. If necessary, additional sections may be added by the Lake Police in this regard.

It is expected that the investigation is completed as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of two months from date and every effort shall be made to recover the stolen articles.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
