The petitioner is aggrieved that the Superintendent of Police, Barasat, North 24-Parganas has not assisted in delivering physical possession of the secured asset in compliance with the order of the District Magistrate, North 24-Parganas, under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002.

In that view of the matter, this Court directs the Officer-in-Charge, Haroa Police Station to communicate to the petitioner within a period of seven days the cost required for carrying out the order of the District Magistrate and for deployment of police force in that regard.

Upon deposit of costs, within ten days thereafter, the possession of the secured asset shall be handed over

to the writ petitioner/State Bank of India by the Officerin-Charge, Haroa Police Station. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
