Report has been filed by the Baruipur Municipality wherefrom it appears that a hearing was given to the parties on January 25, 2021.

The petitioners were present at the time of hearing and have recorded their no objection if the iron staircase made by the private respondents at the subject premises is permitted to remain as it is.

Learned advocate representing the private respondents has also filed an affidavit disclosing the documents showing the valid licence to run the nursing home. It has been submitted that the iron staircase is the emergency fire exit of the nursing home.

It appears from the report filed by the respondents that the petitioners do not have any grievance with regard to the present iron staircase at the nursing home set up at the instance of the private respondents.

In view of the above, the aforesaid writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
