Having regard 07-03-2025 AKG Ct. 15 to the averments made in paragraph no. 3 of this application, I am of the view that the petitioner has sufficiently explained the reason for his non-appearance on May 10, 2024.

Accordingly, CAN 1/2024 is allowed and this writ petition is restored to its original file and number. In Re.: WPA 16052 of 2022 The petitioner prays for conversion from Contributory Provident Fund to General Provident Fund cum Pension Scheme.

On behalf of KMDA, attention of this Court has been drawn regarding pendency of Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. 3985 of 2024 (The State of West Bengal & Anr. Vs.
