Report submitted by the State which has been prepared by the Officer-in-charge, Bhowanipore Police Station, encloses the statement of the Opposite Party No.2 (which has been recorded virtually) and an email being communicated to the concerned Officer be kept with the record. The report, statement and the communication reflects that the Opposite party no.2 is not interested to pursue with the Bhowanipore P.S. Case no. 313 of 2017 dated 04.04.2017 as she has expressed that already an amicable settlement has taken place between the parties before the Mediation Centre at Delhi.

In view of the Opposite Party no.2 not willing to pursue with the case and the dispute and differences arising out of matrimonial discord, I am of the opinion that further continuance of Bhowanipore P.S, case No. 313/2017 dated 04.07.2017 wherein charge-sheet was submitted by the investigating agency, may result in harassment. As such the proceedings are quashed. Accordingly CRR 2429 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
