Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner alleges police inaction for non-registering an FIR on his complaint.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that an FIR has indeed been registered on the fresh complaint lodged by the petitioner on 09.07.2023 being Baguiati Police Station case No. 393 dated 09.07.2023 under Section 420 and 406 IPC.

It appears thus that the prime grievance of the petitioner has already been redressed.

Therefore, there is no need to pass any further order.

The investigating agency shall conduct investigation in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
