The writ petitioner complains that the respondent no. 5/son is pressurizing her and her husband to transfer a portion of the property in his name. The Inspector-in-Charge, Hariharpara Police Station has submitted a report indicating that the petitioner and her husband gifted their dwelling house to their daughters leaving no share for the son. It is further submitted that with the help of the local villagers, the respondent no. 5 was allowed to stay in the house with his wife and minor child.

The petitioner further alleges that the Officerin-Charge, Hariharpara Police Station is also coercing the petitioner to transfer a portion of the property in favour of the son.

Having carefully heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State, this Court is of the view that the question of the petitioner or her husband executing any portion of any property in favour of the son, does not arise as the only property has already

been given to the daughters. Hariharpara Police Station shall warn the private respondent no. 5 and his wife against harassing the petitioner. In the event of any further complaint of any harassment by the respondent no. 5, the Officer-in-Charge, Hariharpara Police Station shall take immediate coercive steps against the respondent no. 5 in accordance with law. The respondent no. 5 being a major and adult may seek residence elsewhere.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
