The writ petitioner complains that the private respondent is illegally claiming rights to purchase a portion of a constructed building in which the petitioner claims to be the two-fifth owner. The said property has been purchased by the petitioner.

The remedy of the petitioner is before the appropriate civil court. The police have no role to play in such matter.

Bhowanipore Police shall, however, ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
