1. Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner had lodged two FIR(s) against the de-facto complainant in 2019. Her husband filed a suit against the de-facto complainant's family over some property. After that the de-facto complainant's side filed as many as five cases against the petitioner including a few against her husband as well. Actually, the de-facto complainant fell down from a bicycle and hurt himself and taking this as an opportunity, lodged an FIR against the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She refers to the statements of the victim and his relative and the injury report.

4. Considering the previous enmity between the private parties, the criminal cases pending between them and the absence of any independent witness to the alleged occurrence, I do not think that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required in this case and I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.

6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
