For the petitioner This is a contempt proceeding arising from an order dated September 26, 2024.

The reasoned order annexed to the writ petition at page 18 dated March 6, 2025 shows that the unauthorized construction has been demolished by the alleged contemnor in accordance with law. However, the petitioner submits that, after demolition the debris are still lying which resists from the ingress and egress of the petitioner to his dwelling house.

In view of the above, the petitioner may make a request to the local authority to remove the debris upon payment of usual charges and cost to be paid by the petitioner and the proper money receipt shall be issued to the petitioner in the event such cost and charges are paid.

However, the above direction shall not create any right or equity in favour of the petitioner and the petitioner shall not initiate any contempt proceeding arising out of this direction.

This order shall not be treated as a precedence.

Nothing further survives in this contempt petition.

With the above observations and directions, this contempt proceeding CPAN 1198 of 2025 stands dropped and closed.

Accordingly, CPAN 1198 of 2025 stands disposed of.
