The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that search warrant was not properly executed at the relevant jurisdiction and as such has approached this Court.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Baguiati Police Station Case No. 414 of 2025 was registered for investigation on 29.06.2025. Report also reflects that some of the materials were recovered. To that effect, seizure list have been enclosed.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by any step of the police authorities relating to recoveries of streedhan articles, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional court. The jurisdictional court would

pass necessary directions upon the police authorities.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondents disputes the manner in which the jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been invoked by the petitioner.

Having regard to the directions passed above, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 15642 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
