The present revisional application has been prayed for expeditious disposal of NDPS Case No.64 of 2021 arising out of Murutia Police Station Case No.135 of 2021 dated 28th June, 2021 under Section 21 (c)/29 of the NDPS Act pending before the learned Judge, Special Court under NDPS Act, Nadia, at Krishnagar. Mr. Anwar Hossain, learned advocate, is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

The stage at which the petitioners approached this Court reflects that the charge was already framed on 5.07.2022 and the dates were fixed for recording of evidence of CSWs 1 to 6 from 28.10.2022 to 31.10.2022. In case the evidence of the case till date has not been concluded, the learned Special Court is directed to take steps so that the trial of the case is concluded within a reasonable period of time as expeditiously as possible. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2585 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
