Mr. Indranil Halder ...for the Petitioner Ms. Susmita Chatterjee ...for CESC 22-09-2025 AKG Ct. 15 Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation before CESC seeking an electricity connection for his premises at Anandapur, Mundapara, Kolkata - 700107.

Learned advocate for the petitioner further submits, albeit somewhat awkwardly, that the said representation ought to be considered by the Grievance Redressal Officer when the specific stance of CESC before this Court is that they are ready to provide a meter supply in favour of the petitioner by installing a loop meter located in the common meter room.

Let the instruction filed by CESC be placed on record. In view of the aforesaid position, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Grievance Redressal Officer to consider the petitioner's representation within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date hereof, after affording the petitioner an opportunity of hearing. Accordingly, WPA 15616 of 2025 stands disposed of.
