The petitioners are aggrieved by the manner in which the Tangra P. S. Case No. 165 dated 28.08.2018 under Sections 498A, 504 & 114 of the Indian Penal Code is progressing.

A copy of the revisional application is directed to be served upon Mr. Arijit Ganguly, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. The appointment of Sri Ganguly, learned advocate be regularized by the State Authority in due course. On perusal of the orders, I find that the charge has already been framed and for a considerable period of time, for reasons beyond the control of the learned Judicial Magistrate the trial of the case could not proceed. Having regard to the anxiety expressed by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners, I direct that the learned Magistrate would take efforts so that the dates of

the trial in this particular case is fixed once in sixty days and in case a date is fixed by the learned court, no resolution of the local bar would operate as the learned advocate for the petitioners has given an undertaking before this court that they would cooperate with the progress of the trial. Thus, the learned trial court is directed to take steps for concluding the trial within a reasonable period of time preferably by 31st March, 2023.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 2106 of 2021 is disposed of. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. ( Tirthankar Ghosh, J. )
