1. Nobody appears for the petitioner.

2. The perusal of the writ Petition shows that the Petitioner's deceased mother was having a license for carrying on business of retail sale of foreign liquor under name and style as Uddharanpur C.S Shop situated at Plot No. 581, J.L No. 118, Mouza, Uddharanpur, Police station Ketugram, Dist. Purba Bardhaman. The Petitioner was running the said liquor shop on behalf of his mother. After the death of the Petitioner's mother, vide order dated 05.01.2022, the Respondent authorities provisionally permitted the Petitioner to run the said liquor shop till 04.02.2022. On the Application filed by the Petitioner for extension, the said permission was extended from time to time till 30.06.2023. Petitioner sought further extension vide application dated 23.06.2023, 24.06.2023, 28.06.2023. However, no decision has been taken by the Respondent authorities and being aggrieved by the inaction of the Respondent authorities, the Petitioner filed the present Writ Petition.

3. There is no appearance on behalf of the Petitioner. It appears that the Petitioner is not interested in pursing the present writ Petition any more.

4. The present writ Petition is dismissed in default. (Gaurang Kanth, J.)
