Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the police filed charge sheet and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. The principal accused was enlarged on statutory bail. Other co-accused was enlarged on bail by the jurisdictional Court. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that anticipatory bail of other co-accuseds was rejected by this Hon'ble Court on March 3, 2022. He submits that the petitioner stands implicated on the basis of the materials available in the case diary.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from

the materials in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

CRM (A) 3490 of 2022 is dismissed.
