Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, since the police submitted charge-sheet, further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the contents of the case diary and more particularly to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr. P. C.).

Considering the materials in the case diary and the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Cr. P. C. of the victim girl and considering the involvement of the petitioner, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 6749 of 2021 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Ananda Kumar Mukherjee, J.)
