Case No.501 of 2022 dated 22.07.2022 under Sections 498A/447/323/325/326/307/506/34/302 of the Indian Penal Code (G.R. Case No.1014 of 2022).

In the matter of : Asia Bibi @ Ashia Bibi .... Petitioner Md. Golam Nure Imrohi ... for the Petitioner Mr. Saswata Gopal Mukherji, ld. PP, Mr. Partha Pratim, Mrs. Manasi Roy ... for the State Learned advocate for the petitioner submits petitioner is a lady and has been falsely implicated. There was a free fight between the parties. She renews her prayer for bail. Learned advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner had participated in the assault. Her bail prayer was rejected on merits in February, 2023. Presently the matter is fixed for consideration of charge.

Under such circumstances we do not consider it pertinent to grant bail at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
