Bhattacharyya, learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner.

The petitioner approached this Court for a Rally to be held on 13th July, 2025. To that effect, a representation was made to Inspector-in-Charge, Contai Police Station.

State has submitted a report which reflects that permission has already been granted vide Memo No.1923/SDPO(C)/25 dated 10.07.2025 with certain restrictions.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities have granted permission, the organisers will on

usual terms and conditions settle the ground reality for proceeding with the Rally.

Mr. Banerjee, learned AGP appearing for the State submits that some time may be afforded to the administration before approaching the High Court.

On a different set of circumstances, the Court will consider the same.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 15482 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
