Banerjee) Mr. Debrup Choudhury ...for the petitioners Mr. Supratim Dhar, Sr. Advocate Mr. Ram Chandra Guchhait ...for the State The petitioners have challenged the propriety of the order dated March 10, 2025 passed by the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Bishnupur, Bankura by virtue of which the application praying for addition of a Shebait in a particular Khatian was kept in abeyance. The West Bengal Land Reforms Act is a specified Act under Section 2(r) of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal 1997 and the BL&LRO is an authority under the specified Act. In view of availability of alternative, efficacious remedy under the said statute, this court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

Faced with such situation, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners prayed for leave to

withdraw this writ petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law. State is represented by its learned advocate. In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
