1. Affidavit of servie is taken on record.

2. It is submitted by Mr. Gupta, learned senior advocate appearing for the Steel Authority of India, (SAIL) that the allegation of intentional disconnection of the electricity supplied to the petitioner, was incorrect. Mr. Gupta further submits that there was a fault with the underground cable. It is assured that the cable fault has now been repaired and the petitioners/school, will be enjoying electricity connection soon.

3. As the school cannot function without electricity, it is expected that the restoration of supply to the school shall be done within 48 hours. Needless to mention, the consumption charges shall be paid by the school.

4. With regard to the past dues, this court has not expressed any opinion. The restoration of supply

to the school premises is subject to any other proceedings between the Steel Authority of India and the school.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

6. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
