In view of the fact that the petitioner stand on the same footing as Riju Sarkar @ Arit Sarkar in CRM (A) 1402 of 2024 decided on 26th April, 2024 and having regard to the fact that the post mortem report of the victim contains details of injuries that the victim suffered prior to his death and in the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure amongst others the name of the petitioner has been mentioned, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. 3.
