For the Petitioners Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioners is for expeditious disposal of ACGR no. 2663 of 2020 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Alipore, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties. The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

This Court is informed that charge was framed on 7th September, 2022 and witness action has commenced. The next date for examination of charge-sheeted witness no 1 has been fixed by the learned trial Court on 22nd August, 2024.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the petitioner and the material on record, the revisional application is disposed of directing the Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Alipore to dispose of the proceeding being ACGR no. 2663 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible without

granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
